Each of the three ZA-28 models is designed for a specific testing method. Since the order of use varies with different penetrant materials, the units must be carefully ordered to fit your application.

ZA-28W for Water Washable Method : This is the simplest unit because water can be used directly to wash excess penetrant from parts without additional steps.

ZA-28E for Post-Emulsified Method : This unit can locate extremely shallow flaws, but it requires an extra processing step applying an emulsifier to make penetrant washable.

ZA-28H for Hydrophilic Method : This unit delivers the highest inspection sensitivity, but it requires an additional processing station for pre-rinsing parts.
