ZygloScan Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) System

MAGNAFLUX® is proud to introduce our new ZygloScan Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) System. This brand new technology will upgrade and improve crack detection in the FPI process.

ZygloScan is a state-of-the-art inspection system that consists of a polarized laser, a highly sensitive camera and a computer.

This optical-based technology will improve your inspection process with greater accuracy, speed and reliability.

ZygloScan detects the depth, length and width of the fluorescent penetrant in the crack and then provides a 3-Dimensional display of the information. ZygloScan is available as both an automated system and a portable unit.

The ZygloScan™ Advantage

With the ZygloScan system, part inspection has never been easier or more revealing. Readings are processed and displayed by the ZygloScan computerized system. Results are no longer victim to human error such as inspector fatigue or loss of concentration. This translates into unprecedented accurate data that can be recorded and saved for reliable future viewing.

ZygloScan’s unique 3-D display shows you the depth of the fluorescent penetrant in a crack. Knowing the depth will eliminate unnecessary rework of parts. This saves both time and expense by taking the guesswork out of your inspection process. ZygloScan also eliminates the need for a developer stage in your FPI process, providing additional time and cost savings.

ZygloScan’s optical-based technology distinguishes cracks without developer by utilizing a polarized filter that removes excessive background and can be preset to find indications at specific depths.
