ELECTRO MAGNETIC UNITS Y6 SERIES YOKE

The lightweight, encapsulated Magnetic Yoke is used for the detection of surface cracking in any ferro-magnetic material.
The Y6 Yoke combines low cost, light weight (3.5 kg) and leg adjustability, creating one of the most versatile pieces of magnetic particle equipment available.
Poles are adjustable from 25 mm to 250 mm making the equipment ideal for inspecting components of different geometries.
Single-handed operation, it is widely used in the testing of welds, automotive components, steel and grey iron castings and for in-plant inspection and repair.

Y7 ELECTRO MAGNET

Versatility and powerful performance in a lightweight yoke, providing either AC or DC magnetic fields in ferro-magnetic materials
The Y7 Yoke’s rugged construction and high performance make it ideal for handheld magnetic particle inspection when performance and reliability of test equipment is critical.
The Y7 Yoke provides either a constant AC field to reveal surface defects or Pulsed DC field for revealing both surface and near-surface defects.

ELECTRO MAGNETIC UNITS Y8 SERIES YOKE

The lightweight, encapsulated Magnetic Yoke is used for the detection of near surface defects in any ferro-magnetic material.

The Y8 Yoke, battery pack and battery charger combines low cost and light weight with yoke adjustability, creating one of the most versatile and portable pieces of magnetic particle equipment available.

Poles are adjustable from 25 mm to 250 mm making the equipment ideal for inspecting components of different geometries.
The battery pack comes with a convenient shoulder strap which offers the ultimate in portability for field inspectors.
Single-handed operation, it is widely used in the testing of welds, automotive components, steel and grey iron castings and for in-plant inspection and repair.

L10 ELECTRO MAGNETIC COIL

Provides excellent portable facilities where only transverse defects need to be detected in shafts, spindles and similar components.

The L10 Coil will accept parts up to 250mm (10”) diameter, It is covered with a wear resistant resin coating, equipped with a footswitch and 10 metres of flexible supply cable. The part is inspected by placing it into the L10 Coil and applying detecting medium to the test area whilst energising the L10 Coil via the footswitch.

ADDITIONAL SOURCES OF LIGHTING FOR Y6, Y7

The light source and leg assembly, which is activated by the magnetic field, it switches on automatically during testing.

Ideal for darker corners.
