HWSL 3656/48 Magnetic Particle Flaw Detection

The HWSL unit is designed to process disc type components with a maximum diameter of 725 mm, a minimum bore of 38 mm and a maximum thickness of 75 mm.

The spiral coil and central conductor will have flying leads of 108-mm2 cable fitted to contact blocks. These blocks are clamped between the head and tailstock of the MAGNAFLUX Magnetic Bench. The current may be applied to either the spiral coil or central conductor by clamping the appropriate contact block, with current level controlled from the Bench Unit.

Power to the solenoid controlling the central conductor clamp is achieved by plugging the wander lead into the auxiliary socket on the Power Pack or Magnetic Bench.

Air input at 4 bar is required to be fed to the regulator and gauge assembly.
